NAILED IT!

When people are asked to do something and nearly succeeded, what do they say? "NAILED IT!" or "Good enough", all of us  have said these phrases even once in our life, right?
This is a positive attitude with a negative effect. Positive that at least you finished it but negative that you might not get the score you expected or you didn't meet the person's expectations. I've experienced that a few months ago when we were supposed to make the colored glass thingy but it wasn't really glass. It was 6pm and we were done. It looked like we rushed the whole thing, which was what we did. It wasn't neat and we needed more time to refine it but we didn't have those so we passed it to our teacher. He was surprised that we finished it within a short period of time although he told us it needed to be refined. He gave us a choice. It is either we continue it at home or we could pass it to him right now. He told us we wouldn't really give us a high grade if we passed it like that so we brought it home.
This phrase is best for performances or plays. You couldn't tell the stage manager to repeat the whole scene again. You'll put the crowd to sleep. Use this phrase when the thing you are doing doesn't really matter like a dare somebody told you to do.

That's it for today, this is M.I.G. signing off to another great day :)

THE SEMESTER IS DONE!!! It's not done yet

(Dismissal)
Me: Yey!! I'm free!
Teacher: Oh yeah! I almost forgot..
Me: What?
Teachers: Since you have more or less a week of break time...
Me: And?
Teachers: And maybe you can give some time for some things...
Me: So what are you trying to say..
Teacher: I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU A HANDFUL OF HOMEWORK!!!
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Teacher: And not only that, I'm giving you a retest on your periodical test after sem-break.
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
You see that?!?! That is what happened earlier! "Teachers" are generally every teacher that gave us homework. It's just unfair! They should at least give us just at most 2 homework... NOT 6!!! Life is like that. If it gives you lemons, you have to make lemonade. You would expect me to think of positive things about this. Sure! Let's see... 1. I learn new things     2. I learn to think positively and say "YEY! Homework" every homework I finish.
Now let's see the negative side of this... 1. I don't get my desired rest time   2. I won't get to enjoy my sem-break   3. I would think that giving us a sem-break is a useless thing when teachers give too much home works that are not necessary for that moment or time.
You would have reacted the same way, more violently or calmer than me. It's gonna be a hard week for me.

I get scared easily and updates on upcoming vid

Everyone is at least scared of something. I'm scared of a lot of things. I must be the biggest coward in the family. Although you can't be always afraid of it, you have to face it. There are just some things I get scared about easily.
If you feel there is something crawling on your arm, wouldn't you be scared that it would be a cockroach, a lizard or any other horrifying insect? (you would. ADMIT IT!) If you were left in a dark room with no one around you, won't you be scared? I would be. There were sometimes I was supposed to close the lights downstairs and go up to my room. I was alone there studying and it was dark so closed the lights, ran up the stairs as fast as I could and went in my room. There was also one time, I was so tired of studying and I was gonna get a glass of water in my dark kitchen. I thought I saw something there but it was just my imagination.
If you would live with me for at least 2 days, those two days wouldn't be complete without me getting scared easily. If you see me run down the stairs for no reason when I'm left alone... SIGN #1. If you suddenly see me stand up and get away from a dark room... SIGN #2. If you hear me scream... SIGN #3.

I know I didn't say much today. I'm planning what I would say or talk about on my first vlog...  Or it would be a random video full of random stuff. Wait for it... It wouldn't be long until I finished the planning. It would also be good for my first public video on YouTube... I want it to be nice and entertaining. What would be nice and entertaining? Hmmmm... Suggest below and I might include it... Hopefully, I could also get the right materials I need. Wait! I'm changing the topic...

IM5

For the past few days, my sister has been showing me a lot of music videos of boy bands she downloaded off the internet. Some of them are One Direction, The Wanted, and more. There was one band that I didn't recognize, it was IM5. I only knew the name of the band when I saw their other video "Rest of our Lives".
Everytime I watch one of their music videos, I could see that each of them (Cole, Dalton, Dana, Will, and Gabriel) has a different personality. To help you imagine how they look like, I have a picture here...
(from left to right) Will, Cole, Dalton, Gabriel, and Dana
I remember my first reaction when I first saw their group. I was like, "Look! It's a mix of different kinds of people from all over the world! There is an Asian, American, Canadian, Indian, and... another American" (I'm sorry if I offended you) It is like a regular high school group of friends! As a band, they are united. I noticed that they aren't like other boy bands that have a lead singer.
All in all, they are a great group. They have a potential to be a good and successful band someday.

"I will soon..." list

Hey guys! I know my blog is a bit boring that I'm not posting fun stuff like the other blogs. I don't update my blog much, there aren't anymore good trends I can talk about and I noticed that most of my views came from my music video review of "The Fox" last month. So... I decided to make an "I will soon..." list. It is like a promise list but less serious. I'll make sure I will do most of them.

I WILL SOON...
1. Post a vlog
2. Put throwback pictures
3. Talk more about music videos, bands, singers, technology, etc as a blog and a vlog
4. Give you more information about me that even my friends don't know (optional: answer yes or no in comments)
5. Get to post more blogs than I used to.

These are my first few goals and I hope I could achieve them.

IT'S OVER!!! FINALLY OVER!!!

Hey guys! I'm back! I'm happy that everything(periodical test) is finished already! That was hard core studying I did there. I'm hoping if I passed all of them...
I have a lot of freetime but limited time to use the computer though. For the next few days, I have nothing planned in mind. Oh well... The downside of this is that our sem-break isn't starting yet... Next week, I have to go back to school on Tuesday and then it's break time... Weird, right? Hopefully, on Tuesday, teachers wouldn't give us homeworks. It would be sad if a teacher would. They're probably laughing at us while we're doing it.(joke :D )
For now, I just want to inform you guys so you should expect more posts than before.

Periodical week...

It is almost the end of the 1st semester!!! There is just one thing left to do... Go through periodical week...
Periodical week isn't a good, happy, joyful week. It is actually a bad, unhappy, cramming week for all students. Think of it as the final test of the quarter and if you fail, you get a low grade in your report card and there is nothing left for you to change that grade. Imagine the test as an important test that contains all your topics for that quarter. Isn't that a bit hard? Exactly why I am not gonna write for about a week so I could review. I would try to find time to give you guys updates on what is happening. After this week, it will be a study-free environment for me(if my teachers don't mess up and give me assignments). It would be nice having a long rest after all those hard work and cramming through notes. Long rest means more time and more time means more posts!

PRAY FOR BOHOL!

Bohol, the home of the tarsiers, where your dreams of hills made out of CHOCOLATE are seen (it's called Chocolate Hills, not exactly made out of chocolate), and where you could have a lot of fun. You should visit that place.
If you have went to Bohol, good! If you were either have not went there or you're about to go there, you'll be surprised to what just happened there.
The reason why I am blogging about this is because I just heard a 7.2-magnitude earthquake just struck Bohol and made a big impact there, literally. I know this is similar to what I blogged about before, I just want to say that I'm not advertising. I'm not sure if I even heard the news right but I think I heard they're gonna experience a tsunami (like what I said, I'm NOT SURE). The earthquake was over and wrecked most things there and now there's gonna be a tsunami?!?! It's like saying you just came out from the hospital and now you have to run two hours straight around a soccer field. That's just unfair, right? (That's life, it's really unfair so deal with it) Since I'm just a student(not a fund raiser), all I can do is inform you guys and pray. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we all have.
I trust you guys on this. Please pray for Bohol and the people living there. They are experiencing bad things right now and another one yet to come. I hope you would understand and pray for them. Pray for the people's safety. Pray for Bohol. :)

"Lakbay Aral"

I have been with another blogger, Kathleen Ku from the blog... KATHLEEN KU:), to review a club. The club is "Lakbay Aral". In English, this means "Travel Learning"(?). I actually wanted to be in this club, but sadly, my parents didn't allow me to join. To give you guys a better view of Lakbay Aral, they plan their travels to places where they could learn new things. The moderator handling this club is Mr. Angelo Abunan, my Filipino teacher last year.
When me and my partner came in the room, we introduced ourselves and they gave us the best seat in the house, the front. They were about to start when we came in so I guess it wasn't really a bother to them for us to come in. They were planning  to go somewhere over the sem-break. Today, they were told to look for historical/educational, environmental, and recreational places they an go on break. They were supposed to look at the info of the place like the price of the ticket, the time it open/closes. Me and my partner tried to help some people in what they were doing and we ended up being a big help to them. We interviewed some members and they said that "It may be a bit boring but the good thing about this club is that we get to travel to places better than what the school organizes." I would actually agree with him. At some points, the club was a bit boring, but later, the teacher will start to make things more lively by giving them a good laugh.
All in all, I would suggest people, who loves to plan to travel or to travel, to join here. If I was a member, I would probably be excited 3 weeks before the trip.

I laugh wrong...

When I laugh in front of my friends or other people, I look like I'm a super Asian kill joy because I laugh like a bored old zombie. At home, I laugh like I'm this crazy person that broke out from the mental hospital that just suddenly appears to laugh at the computer screen.
I'm really like that. There was this one time... well, maybe a lot of times, where my sister was studying and was scared when I started laughing. She wanted to video me just laughing at this video earlier, but I stopped when she was about to. If she did video it, I would show you guys. I couldn't avoid laughing like that. Admit it! You do it too! YOLO, am I right? YOLO! There are different types of laughs that are more hilarious than mine. Click here to see the video I saw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p32OC97aNqc
This video was funny... One of my favorite videos... Laughter chains... :))
I know this post wasn't much, I just came home from a long travel...

Don't Deny It!

Do you have this kind of conversation with your friends?
"OMG! You look soooooo pretty in that dress!"
"No! I look soooo fat in this dress."
"Don't think like that! It really looks good on you!"
              "But it's true!!"
(then the conversation goes on forever until either the person agrees or the other person got tired of telling the other person)
That happens to everyone, even boys! Sometimes, the person secretly agrees with the compliment but denies it because they might look too proud if they said they agree. I do that everytime but I really don't agree with the person. I deny every person's compliment because I don't see how it's true. They have to prove it to me before I agree. Even if they do that, I won't tell them I agree. You can relate, right? Admit it! You do that too! Be proud of it!(joke)
I'm not saying that this habit is good nor I'm saying this is bad. I'm just saying that if you want to agree with them, don't tell them in a way you would look too proud. Just simply say thank you and stay humble. Don't let that very compliment overwhelm you.
You know, sometimes, you should give yourself a chance to embrace it. Don't always deny it. Those compliments might happen once in a lifetime, right?
You might be a bit confused or most probably bored by now so...
